This is a course for educators who are interested in English as a foreign or alternative language and a project-based approach to learning in general, as an element of their own teaching, or for teaching on junior language courses. The course is fully accredited by Trinity College London.
This is a two-week part-time course which provides qualified educators with a deeper understanding of concepts and practical aspects of technology-enhanced project-based learning. The course consists of:
NB: A C1 level of English and teaching qualification in any area is required for this course.
In order to ensure that this is the right programme for you, we will first invite you to confirm your teaching qualifications and complete our application task. Once you have been accepted on the programme, you will receive a pre-course task that will help us to understand your experience with technology-enhanced project-based learning and prepare you for the assignments.
The course runs over two weeks and is delivered through the dedicated FL online learning platform.
You will have a schedule of all sessions and tasks for the two weeks and you will work together with an international group of up to 12 students. You will complete twp collaborative projects and three assessed assignments during the two weeks.
After the course you will continue to have access to the course material on the FL online platform for up to six months.
You will have four weeks following the programme to complete and submit the final course assignment. The course director will forward these to be validated and your certificate will be issued up to six weeks after this date.
