YOUNG ADULT SUMMER | 17 TO 20 | YOUNG ADULT CULTURAL PROGRAMME
The FL Young Adult Cultural Programme is all about exploring the area you are visiting, getting to know its people and the civilizations from ancient to modern that shaped its landscapes, its vibrant towns and cities and the great myths and literary masterpieces inspired by it. This programme is designed for mature, independent students who prefer to have some freedom to explore the aspects of Ireland’s capital city that interest them. The cultural activities engage students’ creative and critical thinking skills in multi-sensory interaction with the physical world and help them develop the language to describe those experiences.
Dublin, Ireland’s capital city and the gateway to Ireland’s Ancient East, is a warm and welcoming city, known for the friendly, gregarious people, who love to hear and tell stories. Dublin city center is lively and full of characteristic bars and restaurants, shopping districts, theatres, parks, and museums.
This historical, both charming and cosmopolitan as well as being small enough to be discovered by foot, also home to global tech companies such as Facebook, Google, LinkedIn and Twitter, is charming in nature and yet small enough to be discovered by foot.
