Foundation for Study through English

  • Level: B2 to C1 (Upper-Intermediate to Advanced)

Course Description

This course is designed to equip people to make a success of studying in an English speaking country. The aim is to equip participants to communicate effectively in English in order to be able to progress academically. Effective communication is about more than just the language, it is about engaging with the educational culture in an appropriate way. It aims to help develop communication skills that consider the cultural as well as the linguistic challenges to successful studying in English-speaking institution.


Fees

Fees per week:

  • 2-6 Weeks = €230
  • 7-12 Weeks = €220
  • 13-24 Weeks = €210

Academic Year (25 Weeks):

€4750 (including final exam fee and learn protection insurance)

Intensive:

supplementary fee for five additional hours per week on the above courses

  • 2-6 Weeks = €85 per week
  • 7-24 Weeks = €70 per week
  • 25 weeks – €60 per week

Evenings: 10 x 2 hour sessions on Tuesdays – €300


Evening Schedule:

  • One evening per week for 10 weeks
  • Tuesdays from 18:30 to 20:45 (includes 15 minute break)
  • Winter 2019: Tuesday 15th January to Tuesday 19th March
  • Spring 2019: Tuesday 2nd April to Tuesday 4th June
  • Summer 2019: Tuesday 9th July to Tuesday 10th September
  • Autumn 2019: Tuesday 24th September to Tuesday 26th November

Morning and Afternoon Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 09:10 to 12:30 or 13:40 to 17:00 daily
